New Garden Park, Inc.
New Garden Park, Inc. is a wholly owned 501(c)(3) non-profit organization subsidiary of the WBDC, creating a unique ability to receive grants for development projects.
New Garden Park’s mission is to revitalize struggling areas of Worcester, MA through collaborative redevelopment projects with a focus on leveraging and promoting the local creative and innovative economy.
In accordance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Brownfields Program, New Garden Park, Inc. (NGP), is providing notice of a planned public meeting for the review and discussion of the draft USEPA Cleanup Grant and the draft Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) document pertinent to the environmental cleanup work for 1 New Bond Street,Worcester, MA. The purpose of the ABCA is to discuss cleanup options at the site. NGP intends to clean up the site and create a pad-ready development as part of a larger redevelopment project. NGP is seeking USEPA funds to remediate 1 New Bond Street, removing environmental contamination from the area and facilitating the demolition of vacant and obsolete buildings for the purposes of creating pad-ready development sites for industrial/manufacturing uses.

The PopUP and the BrickBox are programs of the Worcester Cultural Coalition, a public-private partnership established in 1999 between the City of Worcester and twelve cultural organizations.
As of 2020, membership stands at 78 organizations, which host over 2.7 million visitors annually, from Worcester and beyond.
The Coalition's mission is to draw on Worcester's rich and diverse cultural assets to foster economic revitalization, support active creative engagement for all, and promote a strong cultural identity for Greater Worcester. -
Theatre District
On December 3, 2013, the Worcester City Council accepted and approved the Downtown Worcester Theatre District Master Plan. This approval marked the culmination of a multi-year collaborative effort with the City of Worcester to complete a comprehensive vision for a portion of Worcester’s Downtown neighborhood. This plan creates a framework for achieving this goal for the 35-acres surrounding the Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts. Working with the urban design and planning firm, Crosby Schlessinger Smallridge, the Theatre District Master Plan provides a pathway to create an active, mixed-use, 18-hour neighborhood for Worcester residents and visitors alike to enjoy.
